A course providing the basics of Data Protection and security training for staff who work within larger organisations

If you have answered yes to one or more of the above then this training is for you.

When you purchase this training you have 30 days to watch the training, complete the assessment and download your certificate.

The training consists of a video covering the basics of data protection legislation and information security, as well as an assessment which when you pass, you can print out a certificate of attendance.

During the 30 day period, there will be a live training session, presented by a qualified data protection officer which allows you to ask questions as the presentation is provided and seek clarification if anything is unclear.

Why do I need to train my staff?
Data Protection Legislation requires that staff processing personal information are aware of their obligations. It is recoemmended that staff receive trainign when they start work with you and then at least annually. 

Why do you cover information security?
As well as know about Data Protection, it is important that staff understand how to protect that information and report any data breaches.

How long is the training?
The training is 35 minutes but you can stop it at any time and come back to it when its convenient for you. You have access to the training for 30 days.

Lesley Cooley

Lesley is a qualified Data Protection Officer with 18 years experience working with Charities and SME’s. A process improvement background creates the right solutions for each client. Lesley also holds a Level 5 executive coaching and mentoring qualification from the Institute of Leadership and Management so can support your teams as they make any necessary improvements to systems, processes and policies. Lesley is also a qualified risk manager and a Certified ISMS Lead Auditor (CIS LA) so works with our ISO clients. Lesley is also a qualified change manager and understands how to work with the team to implement effective change.
